ioko is looking for an enthusiastic Java Developer to work in our Application Support Team.  The role is an excellent entry point into one of the UK’s most exciting software development environments.  You will be supporting a number of high profile customers and exciting technologies, including Video on Demand.

Responsibilities:
• You will be working in a reactive environment, liaising with customers and working with other ioko support teams, where having a strong sense of customer service and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Typical tasks will include diagnosing and fixing faults, developing new enhancements, and application administration duties.

Requirements:
• Core Java development skills
• Experience of some of the following: Spring, HTML, JavaScript, Adobe Flex, Silverlight, JSP, Oracle, Linux, WebSphere or WebLogic, and Vignette
• You need at least three years’ commercial experience of Java development, which will include delivering web based applications, and be vocational about your career in IT

Educational requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in science, maths, engineering or similar
