Realizing that Cloud Computing models have the real potential to raise the bar for IT security, Glenn has created architectures, patterns, recommended practices, and tools to drive improved security for Cloud Computing environments. Many of these works have been integrated into Sun's Cloud Computing initiatives and made publicly available. Simon Gallagher

Simon Gallagher, Senior Technical Architect, ioko
Simon Gallagher* is a senior technical architect at ioko, an ISO 20000-accredited Managed Services company and provider of tailored private and hybrid Cloud service solutions . He is part of ioko’s professional services group and has overall responsibility for Microsoft and VMware-based client projects. Simon has 14 years of industry experience and specialises in working with clients to accelerate project delivery timescales and provision multi-tier test lab environments using server-based computing and virtualisation. Simon has a popular blog on virtualisation and Infrastructure technologies at http://vinf.net . He holds a BSc (Hons) Computer Science from the University of Brighton and in 2009 was awarded VMware vExpert status for his contribution to the virtualisation community.
